The Audio Visual Republic, known simply as AVR,
is a creative entity formed by Aaron Sjogren. With strong ties to local
music, film, and visual experimentation, his work is driven and inspired
by all three disciplines.
The brand identity of Audio Visual Republic stemmed from founder
Aaron Sjogren's inspiration based on three disciplines: film,
local music, and visual experimentation. To represent each discipline,
Colorcubic designed a tripartite of arrows pointing outward at 120 degree
angles. In reverse, the negative space reveals three inward arrows, altogether
representing symbiosis. A subtle detail is the perspective of the corner
of a cube, also geometrically representing the third degree.
